- Senior Manager, Financial Reporting - Full time Contract
Our client is looking for an Senior Manager, Financial Reporting for a 2-3 month contract with the potential for longer term engagements for the ideal candidate.

The role:
As a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting, you will help their client through their 1st quarter reporting. You will prepare 1st quarter reporting and returns for this Public SEC Registrant company that reports under US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
Skills:
- Indepth knowledge of US GAAP, in particular how to close a quarter and prepare the necessary documentation.
- 5-8 years experience in this type of role
- Experience managing others in the preparation of a publically traded quarter end.
- System knowledge of Workviva would be an asset.
- Highly motivated self-starter, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities, strong problem solving, and negotiating, influencing, partnership skills.
- Detail oriented, with the ability to manage all tasks within the pre-defined timelines
- Must be well versed in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Note that only know Private Enterprise standards will not be considered (ASPE)
